Affiliate disclosure.
The full, plain-English version of how Thinner makes money and how we separate that from our editorial rankings.
1. What we are
Thinner is an independent editorial site that reviews and ranks GLP-1 weight-loss programs in the United States. We do not prescribe medication, dispense drugs, operate a pharmacy, or offer telehealth services. All programs we review are operated by independent third-party companies.
2. How we make money
When you click a link on Thinner to a third-party program and sign up as a customer of that program, Thinner may receive a referral commission from that program. The exact amount varies by program. Commissions are paid by the program to us — they never come out of what you pay.
3. Which programs pay us
As of March 2026, Thinner has active or pending affiliate relationships with Hims & Hers, LifeMD, Mochi Health, Ro, and WeightWatchers Med+. Programs we review that do not currently pay us include Form Health and Push Health. Regardless of whether a program pays us, all programs are scored using the same public methodology.
4. How affiliate links are marked
Every affiliate link on Thinner uses rel="sponsored nofollow" per Google's search guidelines. Every page that contains ranked affiliate links includes a visible disclosure box above the ranking.
5. Why commissions don't change rankings
Our rankings are calculated using the 8-criteria rubric described in our methodology. Affiliate commissions are not one of those criteria. Editorial staff who determine rankings have no visibility into which programs pay us which rates. If a paying program stops paying, its ranking does not change; if a non-paying program starts paying, its ranking does not change.
6. Your rights & recourse
You are never obligated to use our links. You can navigate directly to any program's website without going through Thinner — you will receive identical pricing and service. If you believe an editorial ranking on Thinner is inaccurate, contact us and we will re-review.
7. Not medical advice
Nothing on Thinner constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a licensed clinician before starting, stopping, or changing any medication.
